Bulgaria occupies 33 place for environmental efficiency in the world.

The index for eco efficiency is conducted by the University of and Columbia jointly with the the World Economic Forum participants. It is a method for evaluation and analysis of indicators of environmental policy in 180 countries worldwide. The ranking is made in consideration with factors such as ecosystem and human health care.

The first place is for Finland. On the second and third position respectively Spain and Sweden. After that again European country - Denmark. United States occupies 26st position, Russia took 32nd place and is only one position before us, China took 109th place. At the bottom of the chart are Somalia, Eritrea and Madagascar.

Such charts undoubtedly affect the real estate market in the respective countries. For example, at the end of 2015. Finland reported an increase in the prices of 1.1% on a monthly basis. The biggest rise was registered in Helsinki - 2.3%, where the average price per square meter reached 3490 EUR when the average price was 1690 EUR / sq for the rest of Finland.
