European statistics in December 2017 showed the most significant decline in Slovakia (5.5%), Spain (4.4%) and Bulgaria (3%). This ranks Bulgaria in the top 3 countries with the largest decrease in construction.
Construction in the European Union increased by 0.6% in December compared to November when it increased by 0.5%per hundred. Statistics shows improvement in construction in the euro area by 0.1% after rising by 0.2% a month earlier.
Construction in December increased by 0.5% and by 1.5%. Production in the euro area construction sector in 2017 rose by 2.4% and 3.5%.
Data reported this as the weakest rise in construction output since January last year.
