At the end of 2018, interest rates on home loans decline. Interest rates on home loans continue to fall. Some of the banks in Bulgaria already offer packages with a price below 3%. In June the average interest rate on the loans in question was 3.12% for a mortgage loan in BGN and 3.43% in EUR. Over the past 12 months, the decrease was 0.30 percentage points for levs and 0.25 percentage points for euro loans.
Тhe lower cost of the loan is the reason why clients not only withdraw new home loans but also refinance old ones at new lower interest rates.
Currently, the most beneficial mortgage loans are offered by CCB. The interest rate for the 20-year mortgage in the amount of BGN 120,000 is 2.6% and the APR is 2.8%. However, the borrower must receive his / her salary at CCB and have a secure income of over 2000 BGN. For lower incomes, the cost of credit becomes 3% or just over 3%. With a salary transfer and a maximum insurance income of less than 3%, the interests of BACB, UBB, UniCredit Bulbank are also included, but the loan goes bundled with other services of the banks.
