The housing market in our country may reach a saturation point in the third or fourth quarter of this year

The tendency for strong growth of real estate transactions in the big cities in our country last year has been maintained in its last quarter. In the last three months of 2021, 11,685 real estate transactions were registered in Sofia. This is an increase of 22.3% on an annual basis and is the first time that the number of transactions in the capital has crossed the threshold of 10,000 since 2008. For the whole of last year, 36,836 real estate transactions were registered in Sofia, increasing by 23.1% compared to 2020. Their annual number is approaching, not ahead of that of 2008, just before the collapse of the real estate market in our country, when they are almost 41 thousand.
