Buyers are cautious, they continue to consider their purchases well and do not rush to buy at any price. This elasticity in demand is expected to slow the rise in residential property prices in the capital. On an annual basis, compared to the first quarter of 2017, the increase is slightly below 11%.
According to data in the first quarter of 2018, housing prices in Sofia kept the levels reached at the end of 2017 and their growth on an annual basis slowed.
At the beginning of the year the average property price in the capital was 1092 euro / sq.m. and 1095 euro / sq.m. at the end of last year. After the rapid crossing of the borders of 900 and 1000 euro / sq.m. it seems that prices are hesitant to pass the next barrier of 1100 euros.
The capital market continues to be very active, and this year it will be again among the most attractive for investment markets, according to forecasts.
